The all-new 2016 Alfa Romeo Giulia is unveiled to the world
Yesterday (Wednesday 24th June 2015) Alfa Romeo treated the world press to an exclusive unveiling of the all-new 2016 Alfa Romeo Giulia as part of its 105th birthday celebrations.
The top-end version of the new Italian car, the Quadrifoglio, which can be likened to the M3 version of the BMW 3-Series, was on display on the night. Tuned by Ferrari engineers, the Quadrifoglio is powered by a six-cylinder turbo charged petrol engine, boasting an impressive 510 bhp, and capable of 0-60 mph in just 3.9 seconds.
As you would expect, when the car goes on sale next year there will be other engine options available, such as the four-cylinder petrol and diesel versions with 1.4-litre and 1.8-litre capacities.
The car, which is scheduled for UK release in September 2016, will no doubt give the BMW 3-Series and other cars in that sector a good run for their money. With Alfa’s distinctive styling, racing heritage, and Ferrari influenced engines, the Italian car manufacturer should have the edge over many of its competition.
Alfa Romeo didn’t give too much away on the night so there is plenty still to be confirmed. And Jordans Cars of Hull will communicate any further information as and when it is released.
