I was contacted this morning by telephone by both the manager called Ben and the MD called Peter Hasnip.
Both apologised for the service I have received.

I was contacted this morning by telephone by both the manager called Ben and the MD called Peter Hasnip.
Both apologised for the service I have received.

I have been into the company today and spoken to them both, they were very polite, professional and apologetic and have agreed to do the repairs needed to the car and to refund me the cost of the replacement key and to provide me with a courtesy car whilst mine is being repaired.
I’m very pleased with this result and appreciate their fast response to my complaint once they were made aware of it.
A big THANK YOU to both for your help in resolving the issues!

I purchased a used 5 year old,Vauxhall Adam from Jordan’s in Hull on Thursday 27th June 2019.
I paid £5,995.
The salesman was called Mark Boyer.
I was told at the time of the sale that there were 2 car keys but the second one just needed to be located,giving me the impression it was in the building.
Once I’d purchased the car I had to chase the spare key as I heard nothing back from them as promised. (Apparently I was called back but I had received no missed calls on my mobile! ) I chased the key myself, called the salesman who apparently was on a test drive and would call me back....he basically preferred to send me a text message instead to confirm there was in fact no spare key at all so he clearly chickened out of speaking to me!
I called him back anyway and during that conversation he was the most arrogant and patronising person I’ve spoken to in a long time (and I work in customer service myself! Clearly he has no training in this department!) I wasn’t happy at all.
I asked to speak to his manager who is apparently named Ben and guess what?
He never bothered to call me back either!.....No surprise there so far......
When I purchased the car I gave it a general look over and looked at the most obvious things but will admit as a female I’m not over clued up on these things.
My partner had been working abroad for several weeks when I had to make the car purchase so I didn’t have his professional input on looking over the car for me.
I chose Jordan’s as it’s a big company,that’s been on the go for many years and I bought my very first car from them. (How the service has gone down hill......)
I assumed I would be getting good service and a good quality car.....
Once my partner had looked over the car he found many things wrong.
One quite serious that could in time affect the safety and integrity of the car especially if it was in an accident.
This is the side of the car my child sits at!
I took the car in on Saturday 20th July with my partner and dealt with a man called Mike on the service desk.
He noted all the points that had been made and said I would be called back on Monday with an update on the work that needed
doing and also from a customer service manager type person to deal with my complaint against the salesman.
I also said I wanted the telephone call to be listened to that I had made.
I didn’t receive a callback until Tuesday from Mike to say no decision had still been made regarding the work as the manager was not in and he would update me on Thursday.
That is today.
I have not heard a thing.
Not even from any of the managers!
The service I have received so far is disgusting!
Now you have my money you do not care!
I also have £220 to pay out tomorrow at Vauxhall in Hessle to get a new second key and to have it recoded, which I feel I should not have to pay!!!
Even my last “old banger” car had two keys!!!
I WILL be taking this further with the Motor Ombudsman and have contacted Trading Standards already.
I will also be seeking advice off a solicitor next week as if I do not get a satisfactory result to this.
I would recommend anyone to steer well clear of this company.
All they want is your money and don’t give a damn after that!!
I really regret going to this company.

I was however disappointed when l first saw the car, we had driven for 5 hours and the car had not even been cleaned, l know its normal policy to clean cars once they are sold but l had made a deal on the phone and it should have been cleaner. I was told it was immaculate, which it was but, there was a dent in the front passengers wing, also the wheels had been changed since the sales picture, l would have argued this point but l was pushed for time to catch a plane the next day, l had to be away first thing in the morning. I did however get a full tank of petrol for the damaged wing but thats not the point, l also mentioned to Phil about the wheels and actually showed him a picture of the car in your advert that stated upgraded alloys, obviously they had been removed to save you some money. Although very nice dealing with Phil, who l cannot complain about, the wheels, the dent did let Jordans down, can you explain the wheels to me, remembering l still have the original advert and pictures of the advert as well, the two pictures do not coincide, l was thinking of going to trading standards as its not the car advertised, well wheels anyway. Other than that l would certainly deal again however when l was there the sales manager never even came out his office, thats not a bad thing but the place was empty and Phil had to go and speak with him about the dent on the wing. All in all, not a bad experience with Jordans, the wheels let the deal down

The car arrived a little later than expected but this was due to the Christmas/New Year break and was presented extremely well and we are very happy with it.

I would certainly recommend anyone to deal with Craig in the future.

The young lady, Adele, who looked after me from the beginning, to the end, of my purchase was exceptional in her knowledge and help, the caring and professional way she attended to all aspects of choosing and purchasing my car was second to none.
